About

I'm Clair.

Mom of three. Trained in clinical-child psychology. Now I'm a wellness and parenting coach, and the SEL coach at a K-8 school.

I don't pretend to have it all figured out. But I've got the training, the experience, and the three teenagers to prove I know what I'm talking about.

FAQs

Common Questions

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Therapy focuses on healing past wounds. Coaching focuses on moving forward — setting goals, building skills, and making changes. I'm not your therapist. I'm the person who helps you figure out what to do next.

How long does coaching usually last?

It depends on your goals and commitment. Some families see me for a few sessions; others work with me for months. There's no pressure either way.

Do you work with both parents?

I can, and often do. But I also work with just one parent. Whatever configuration gets you the support you need.

What ages do you work with?

Any and all. Family coaching will always involve grown-ups to some extent. Individual work can include significant others. Your goals determine how we work together.
