About
What coaching actually looks like.
Not therapy. Not advice from the internet. A real plan, built for your life, with someone in your corner.
Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching is not therapy.
So what's the difference?
Therapy focuses on healing past wounds. Coaching focuses on moving forward — setting goals, building skills, and making changes.
Therapy addresses clinical concerns. Coaching manages everyday stressors. I'm not your therapist. I'm the person who helps you figure out what to do next.
If I think you need therapy, I'll speak up and help you find that support. Coaching and therapy do different things, and I want to stay in my lane.
How It Works
Think of it like a sports coach.
Not the one in the movie giving the inspirational halftime speech — the real one.
- There at every practice, watching you do the drill, showing you how to tweak it, pushing you to run it again
- Guiding during the game when everything falls apart and you need someone on the sideline who knows your playbook
- Supporting, encouraging, and cheering you on when you're doing the work
The Goal: Live the Life You Want
That's what I do. Except instead of scoring points and winning games, we focus on living lives we love. You get skilled in talking to your kid when they're melting down, handling conflict without someone shutting down or blowing up, stopping the thought spiral that keeps you stuck at 3am.
The Play: Assess, Explore, Implement, Adjust
We start by figuring out what's worked and what definitely hasn't. Then we explore actual solutions and skills. Not vague advice. Real, concrete strategies. I guide, support, and push you to practice them. We check in on how it's going and adjust as needed.
What I Believe
I meet people where they are, not where I think they should be.
Most people are struggling, not malicious.
Honesty is essential, even when it's uncomfortable.
You don't have to be perfect to be effective.
When you change yourself, things around you shift, too.
Parenting is an incredibly tough and important job, yet most are doing it without nearly enough support.
Want to see if coaching is right for you?
No prep needed. Just show up as you are.
